The main types of Virtual Private Networks (VPN) include Remote Access VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and Extranet VPN. Remote Access VPN allows remote users to securely access a private network. Site-to-Site VPN connects two or more private networks across a public network like the internet. Extranet VPN extends a private network to trusted business partners, allowing secure collaboration.
