=800 meters per min

the distance between two poles is 50 meters.
if in one min he covers 800 metres ,therefore he covered
800/15 = 16 parts.
hence no of poles is 17.

DATA INADEQUATE...because the length of the train is not
specified. Suppose the length of the train was
100m(say)..den it has to travel 50m(dist btwn the poles) +
100m(length of the train itself) to cross 2 poles completely..
So it takes approximately 11 sec to cross 2 poles (after
calculating by converting into m/s n m/min)

so 60/11 ~= 5.5.. hence it crosses 2 * 5.5 = 11 poles in 1 min..
