EBIND (External Binding) is a feature in IBM DB2 that allows you to create user-defined functions and stored procedures in languages other than SQL, such as C, COBOL, and Java. Here's an example of how to create an external procedure in C:

1. Create the C source file (e.g., myfunc.c) with the desired function implementation.
2. Compile the C code using a C compiler that supports DB2 C bindings (e.g., gcc -o myfunc db2bind).
3. Register the compiled object with DB2 using db2reg command.
4. Create a database stored procedure that calls the external function.
5. Use the stored procedure in your SQL queries.
