The cost of fuel used for trials on a fixed asset could potentially be considered as a part of the asset's cost. This is known as 'Bona Fide Costs.' However, it's important to note that accounting treatment can vary depending on the specific rules and regulations of your jurisdiction. For a definitive answer, please consult with a qualified accountant or financial advisor.
