Its Metrics not the mathematical term matrix here metrics means simple measure of some property of a piece of software or its specifications. Since quantitative measurements are essential in all sciences, there is a continuous effort by computer science practitioners and theoreticians to bring similar approaches to software development.

If there are Requirements document, we can use traceability matrix to find the test coverage. How to get the test coverage if there are no requirements.

Requirement is given : 1) The Login screen should require with 2 fields "Login" & "Password" 2) After successful login Success Message will display. 3) For Invalid login Error Message will display. 4) "Login" & "Password" both fields are case insensitive. 5) The Application should be Dialog application.
