I also selected for karnataka state, however still i have
not received any offer letter.
If you have any idea when they will dispatch offer letter ?

today i talked to the union member of sbi.
he said to me that joining process is delayed because union
want govt provide pension to their new employees ?
but govt do not want to provide us pension.
sbi will sent us joining letters after the setlement of the
pension issue till we have to wait.
it could be one month or so.
that is true.

Hi Everyone...this is Nataraj from Bangalore....I have got
a message today stating offer letter has been sent by
registered post and the medical check up is on
7/12/2010.....

Since it is a huge process of recruitment and will take time approximately one month as stated some of SBI Official. There will a medical check and police verification will be conducted later on after joining. It was stated by him that in first week of Nov all selected condidates will positively receive their joining instruction and after medical process is over joining will be held in Dec 2010.

Hi Rajesh,
What you told is absolutely right.
Even one of my uncle told the same thing. Due to the
pension issue for new employees, the offer letter is
getting delayed.
We have to wait until the issue resolves. We have waited
for almost 1 year, I think it is still difficult for us to
wait. However, whatever happening is for our benifit. Union
members are struggling for us to get pension (new joiners)
so we should be thankfull for the union members for the
fight and lets hope for the best and wish we all get
pension.
