hi sam i don't think that anybody want to miss the
opportunity to be po in sbi.so saying that lot of people
engaged in other banks might improve our chances is not
acceptable as they have options to resign.

HI SANDEEP
YOU MIGHT RIGHT NOBODY WILL MISS CHANCE TO PO IN SBI.
BUT AS PER MY INFORMATION WHEN I APPEARED IN GD THERE WERE
12 PEOPLE IN MY GROUP,BUT OUT OF 12 ONLY 8 PEOPLE WERE
PRESENT AND 4 WERE ABSENT. SO WHAT DO YOU THINK.

Hi Sam and Sandeep,,,
Even my friends who had their interviews said there were 3
absentees and one guy was rejected as he did not have the
necessary documents with him so even they had only 8 out 12
people called,,,,,,
That's really increase other's chances

Yaar as i am hearing more from interviewers i am finding
that mostly all of them have easy interviews and GD,,,so i
think it's written marks only thats going to be the
distinguishing factor,,,,
So as Vvs once pointed out i think people who have been
called for PO and PO(Rural) they have far far better
chances than people likeme who has got call only for PO
(Rural)........
Any one has any clue regarding as to how many candidates
were shortlisted for the interview.....
