ESOP means Employee stock ownership plan
An employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) is a way in which
employees of a company can own a share of the company they
work for. There are different ways in which employees can
receive stocks and shares of their company. Employees can
receive them as a bonus, buy them directly from the company,
or receive them through an ESOP.
An ESOP is similar to a profit-sharing plan. A company
sets up a trust fund, into which it contributes either new
shares of its own stocks or cash to buy existing shares.
Another version of the ESOP borrows money in order to buy
existing or new shares. In this case, the company makes cash
contributions to the plan in order to repay the loan.
The main purpose of an ESOP is to reward and motivate
employees. They are also used to provide a market for
departing owners of successful companies. In most cases, an
ESOP is given to an employee, rather than purchased by an
employee.

i forgot to save my biodata form at the time when i submitted the applicatin.now im qualified in the written exam.is that biodata is mandatory for the interview?plz let me know dat

Dear Sir or Madam, I belong to GENERAL category and I applied for SBI PO exam to be held on March 7th 2010. I heard for GENERAL category there are only 4 chances to write PO exam. I did not prepare well this time. So I want to absent for the upcoming exam on March 7th 2010. If so it will not be counted as number of attempts,right? I passed MCA in 2002 with 81%,applied for PO of syndicate bank.will i get interview call? How to prepare for that ? Any suggestions, referring books?. Thanks in advance.

Congratulation to all who have cleared the Tier II exam of SBI PO held on 30Nov. I had written that exam during my 9th month of pregnancy, I gave birth to my baby in Dec. Now i am confused how to attend the interview and GD with a month old baby, my in-laws are very supportive and they are supporting me a lot during this period , but my question will SBI interviewr will conside my candidature or will they reject me plz any body guide me

Hi, I am Sreenias. I got shortlisted for Syndicate bank PO's post. While applying to this post, I attached the applicant copy of the bank receipt(fee receipt) by mistake. Now they are asking me to bring this original applicant copy along with my certificates. Please let me know it would create any problem for my interview?
