network layer:in this mainly 2 protocol are working.
1. Routed protocol:it is responsible for select the best
path. i.e depending upon routing protocol what we have
configured.ex:rip,ospf,eigrp.
2.routing protocol:it is responsible for carry the data
from source to distnation with the help of logical address
(IP address)

hi ramesh,

actually routing protocol only , determines the best path of packet through an internetwork. i.e rip,ospf,eigrp

routed protocol is responsible for carry the data
from source to distnation with the help of logical address
(IP address).that is it determine the method of packet delivery
