Well patching is a planned task so the task is pre-scheduled
before patching collect some outputs like df
-k,prtconf,vfstab,/etc/system. Apply the patch on OS using
patchadd command it effects current OS disk and reboot the
system. Don' forget to break mirror before applying patch

Steps to be followed in patching
1. collect all the configuration information as mentioned
in Ans#1
2. Break the SVM mirror
display mirror info
#metastat -cp
detach the mirror
#metadetach d11 d10
etc.
3. Start the patch install script
4. After patching is complete, reboot the server
