what is the actual role of configaration Management? and
How is it differ from SQA activities?
Answer / guest
Configuration Management is to keep track of multiple
versions of documents/software, so that latest as well as
previous versions can be easily accessed at any time.
The documents include not just Test Cases and Test Scripts,
but also Requirements and code.
Configuration Management is performed for SQA activities
too, along with other phases of life cycle. Other than
this, they have nothing in common.
