HI, Guys 4st of all congrats to all for getting through the
written test, Hopefully I have been through as well and my
interview date has been scheduled on 7-05/2010. Hope all of
us will clear the interview and hope to meet some of you
some time, some where. this is really a good initiative by
expressing our view to every one bcauz it might help us in
our future interview as well.

Hey , when the cashier receives the fake note , by duty he/she has to cancel the note diagonally end to end with a black pen , but generally in order to keep a good relationship they return the note tell to use it somewhere in market , esp petrol pumps :-)

Hello Payal , you are right , the question will be definitely asked to freshers but not to you as you are already having work - ex in banking, you have shifted from IT to banking , So you be prepared to answer banking queries .
And about noc ,i'll research and post the answer soon .
But don't worry thats not a big issue to fear

Why SBI clerk being an MBA ?
I'll give you the points tailor the suitable ones as per your personal , family and background. Since i dont know much about you . Okay .
-- I'm good in finance
-- also have good diplomatic skills to deal with people
-- have good problem solving skills
-- Have interest in banking (as you've done banking diploma )
-- Job security, standard of work , quality of environment , more better compared to pvt jobs
-- If someone from family BG already in bank ( then give example like , banking runs in my blood ). a dream job from childhood to work in bank .
-- excellent verbal and written skills
-- need a break to start up my career and nothing will be better than this job , where i will be able to make efficient use of my skills.
-- Though the start is slow but after next 10 years i see myself at a higher position scale 2/3 .
Also mention selection at BOB as achievement in your resume
and even if not asked , tell the panel that , i always had interest in banking , that time i cleared but was not able to join because of family pressure to pursue higher studies but this time i have again proved and now i am ready for a job .
My MBA has groomed me well and now if you give me a chance i will give my best to my dream job .
These are a few points in my mind for time being . Rest ,be well dressed, speak with confidence ,be polite , be frank and don't argue if you are not sure and make them feel that this is the right choice baby ! aha !

What will be the gross salary and net salary of newly appointed clerks in SBI after the revised pay which was signed on 27th april 2010. I am selected as a sorting assistant in RMS'T'Division,(Tiruchirapalli)Department of Posts,India(central government job) on 29th December 2009.
