9 11471I'm involved in automation using silk test of an swing application running in a browser. There is a window whose name is a dynamic. i.e based on the input(eg: some filename) the window name keeps on changing. I need to capture the window name for every run of silk test case for different input filenames. I'm aware of GetName() in SilkTest, but its not working for me. Can anybody suggest me any logic to achieve this using silktest?
3 7518In Real time what should be the duration(30 min,1 hr) of the loadtest? In the controller how do we handle errors and failed transactions.....When the transactions fail, do we perform the loadtest again? Can anyone please help?

1983Hi All, I am new in testing field. I got an interview and the question was asked- What would be your high level test case on the following scenario. There are 2 fields one is SCORE and other is GRADE and there is a go button. Scenario is If score is 90- 100 then grade should be A, if Score is 80-90 then B, if 70- 80 then C Else F. So I told that - I will check Boundary values by giving max +1 and min-1 values. I will check the functionality is working as per the requirement or not. I will include + and - testing. But seems like my answer was not correct, obviously because I don't have much experience. So plz provide me the best answer of this Q ? Thanks in advance. Preeti

hi all I have an overall experience of 12 years working in an EDP setup(worked in a manufacturing setup in a German MNC). On my request, I was relieved from my duties in Sep 06 for maternity reasons. However I would like to pursue a career in a software organization as a manual tester. I obtained my proficiency certificate in Software Testing from STAG SOFTWARE LIMITED 2 months ago i.e in May and would now like to continue working in this field.
