Calibration: It is the assurance about the instrument &
their respective parts work properly & OK for work on it
also the results are trustfull & validate.
Validation: It is the documentated evidence about the
instrument is OK for it's intended purpose over a range of
analysis.

Caffeine standard is recommended by the monograph for HPLC wavelength accuracy calibration. It is covered range of 205 to 273 only.If the method have wavelength beyond the range, then how it supports for instrument performance?
