calibration is check the equipments working or not and validation is the documented act of demonstrating that a procedure, process, and activity will consistently lead to the expected results. It often includes the qualification of systems and equipment.

calibration is nothng like checkng up of your instrument
before going to start your work in your lab
validation is a document which explains how to do a work as
per FDA guidelines & it was essential for drug to be valid
during approval by FDA

if u didnt do calibration u can get result but these results
are far apart from official limits so calibration is must & it
was done by instrument engineers those who designs that
machine but validation document was prepared by QA people &
implemented by QC people
