what is difference between GC & GC-HS

Answer Posted / vishnu dutt pandey, lupin limit

1.In GC Liquid Injection made. While in GC-HS vapours of
volatile solvents injected.
2.In GC we analysed only residual solvents of those
substances which is in liquid state.
3.Through GC-HS we analysed residual solvents of those
substances which is in Solid [api, Tablet] & liquid both
state state.Because when we crush the solid for made
solution in diluent for liquid injection there is some
temperature genarate, the low boiler is vaporised & we can't
get accurate result of the material.
