I have my F1 visa interview in July. I would like to know
which types of questions I should expect from the consulate
officer. I am going to the US to do a PhD.

as far as i know there wont be any rejections for phd most
of the times people get the visa for a phd course

I was not living in India. I'm a french citizen. So, the
consulate officer did not ask me any questions. Thanks for
all your replies. I think I should have mentioned my
citizenship right from the beginning.

Hello Sir/Madam, I had completed my graduation in BCA from Lyallpur Khalsa College ( regular) which is under Guru Nanak Dev University and got 59% in 2009. I want to do my further studies in New york or near to new york in USA . Which course is good for me? And which college/University is best for me where fees structure is not very high ? Should I do ilets or GRE ? Are they benefical for me? Plz reply…
Hi friends i am from mumbai and have been rejected twice for f1 visa on 13th dec 2010 and 23th dec 2010. i hv enough funds, so should i go for third time or should i wait for fall 2011.reply asap.
I am flo from france and I am currently studying in London. I have the opportunity of taking a design course over the summer at an american university so I need a visa F1. The university pays their student to study for the summer as they are doing a project in partnership with companies. Am I able to be paid by the uni with a VISA F1? HI im currently a third year engineering student. I wish to do an internship in a strategic electronics department which is kind off in collaboration with DRDO,(basically releated to defence projects).
