You are correct the ISTQB advance level has 3 sub levels
namely
1)Technical Tester
2) Functional Tester
3) Test Manager

A single syllabus exists for all the three sublevels. There
is an partioning File available which describes the
partition of the Syllabus as per the sub-levels. There is
an separate paper for each sub-level and each Paper is of
90 Minutes Duration. Sub-Levels can be taken up in any No.
& in any order. An individual Certificate is granted on
sucessful completion of each sub-level.
