Test Director is a test management tool.
Mainly it contains two components.
1).Site administrator
2).Test director
Using site admin component the admin can create some
domains.
under these domains he can create some projects and he can
create new users. He assigns users for a particular project.
Using Test Director option a test engineer can able view
the following tabs.
1.Requirements tab
2.Test plan tab
3.Test lab tab
4.Defects tab
In requirements tab we can create requirements and sub
requirements.
Using test plan tab we prepare our test cases based on the
requirements.
Here in testplan tab main thing is we have to map the
requiements and testcases.
We can see whether all the requirements are covered interms
of testcases using requirementscoverage option in
requirement tab.
After preparation of test cases we will go the nexttab
(testlab).
Here we execute our tests using RUN or RUN ALL tests
options.
If any mismatch is observed during the execution we will
post that as a defect using defect tab.

Hi All, Im currently getting to grips with the Document Generator in Test Director and have a query. We use TD to link requirements to test cases and I am attempting to produce a report which lists the requirement and the test case it is linked to. I cant see a way to do this as the test case link info resides on the Coverage page and it appears the only field available to display for requirements reports within document generator as those on the 'details' tab. Any tips?
