Misc expenses comes in assest side this is because they
needs to be wriiten off from p n l account on year to year
basis.

Explanation:

if there debit balance in P/L account due to misc expenses
then assest side will show pnl debit balance which can be
replaced by misc. expenses and then on yer to year basis it
will be wriiten off fron pnl a/c.

P/L account is a nominal account, and according the golden
rules in nominal account all expenses and losses should be
debited & all incomes and gains are credited. therfore
miscellaneous expenses should be debited.

Misc Expences is asset item of the balance sheet.Misc
expences are written off,but not in the same year in which
it has incurred,though it is written off in installment
decided by managment.And debited ot P & L account each year.

Misc expences are included in asste because these are
capital expences for the long term economic gain.
