Suspension/Resumption Criteria in a Software Test Plan :
If any defects are found which seriously impact the test
progress the test lead may choose to supend testing.
The criteria which are considered for suspension or
resumption are :
[a] hardware / software not available at the time indicated
in the project schedule
[b] the build contians many serious defects which seriously
prevent or limit testing progress
[c] Assigned test resources are not available when needed
by the test team
Resumption Criteria :
If testing is suspended, resumption will only occur when
the problem(s) that caused the suspension have been
resolved. When a critical defect is the cause of the
suspension, the “FIX” must be verified by the testing team
before testing is resumed

Suspension Criteria in a Software Test Plan :
In case of any serious issues are found during the QA the
testing is suspended by the QA member in absence of higher
QA people. And that is documented in the test plan for the
official purpose.
Resumption Criteria in a Software Test Plan
The issue that caused the suspension should be resolved and
documented in the test plan for the official purpose. The
issue must be re validated by the QA member.
Every QA process should be documented. That will help to
ensure the QA .
