Mr. XYZ we can record scripts for Desktop Application when
u click Recording button u need to select Application
Type " Win 32 Application and Program to Record and Program
Arguments and working directory and Recording Action ....

when u select the these option and try to create scripts
for desktop Application ... make sure u should know the
Path for Program to Record..

option

Desktop application can be recorded, but the protocol to be
selected may differ. In 9.5 there is option called Protocol
Adviser which helps to get the protocol used in the
application. We can use that and it will tell us which
protocol we should use.

Before that you need to select protocol with help of Protocol adviser. once you analysed protocol after that you can easily record script using recording options.
