UI : to test the look and feel of the screen colors, fonts,
layouts etc
Usability : to test how easily the user can use the system,
control flow on the screen.

UI Testing : Testing various attributes of the fields and
screens( such as Font case,Colour,Field length,Texts,
spellings, Apprearances,Look and feel in general)
Usuability Test: Will the application be used at its best
in its current state.How much the application will meet the
needs of the user.

In general testing team's test execution process starts
with usability testing.During this the testing team
concentrate on userfriendliness of application build.This
usability testing is classified tnto two sub tests.
1.user interface (ui)testing
2.manual support testing.
ui testing is used to validate every screen in terms of
ease of use(understandability of screen),look and feel
(attractiveness o0f screen) and speed in interface(less
no.of events to complete a task ie.,short navigation)
