Hi, I've scheduled my H1B Interview on Sep-18 in
chennai.I've 3.5 yrs experience in software testing. I
don't know much about the project am going to work in US.
Could anyone suggest what should i say for the following
questions
Q1: What is your responsibility in the US Company?
Q2: Why you want to work in US?
Q3: Since am in s/w testing, what will be the technical
questions they might ask related to my field?

Don' worry abt these type of questions...
u can tell whatever they will give, i must follow that road
as my work...and tell ur proper designation...
i want to grow myselt after getting 3.5 yr of exp in
india..that's y i want to go there and grab oppurtinities...
If u r wokling as a software testing engineer then
technically u should aware abt life cycle of SD(SOftware
Developmet)...

I have applied for H1B visa along with my family, We have attended H1 visa interview on 29-Sep-09. My Wife and Son has received passport along with H4 visa stamped. Yet I have not received my passport. I have checked passport status at www.vfs-usa.co.in site, still it showing “Your passport has not been handed over to VFS. Kindly contact our regional call centres for further queries”. Do anyone has an idea, that how much time it takes to process and stamp H1 Visa?
Hi All, I have attended for H1 yesterday. Interviewer was not happy with the project desc and asked for more documents mostly abt company profile and complete desc.she asked me to drop them in the drop box.but she said not to drop the passport. can anyone let me know what happens next. shall i consider it as lost as she didnt asked for passport? or after checking the documents will i be asked to appear again if she is ok with the docs? or how is it gonna be? Hi I got H1B in 2008 quota. It is not stamped on my passport yet. I had 8 yrs of Exp but Currently I am not working from last 9 months due to recession and some personal issue. My question is what will happen when my employer send me for visa processing? Do I face any Issue? Will My H1B visa stamped or not? Thanks
Hi, I have not filed my IT returns for 2008-09 as my income was NIL due to unemployment. IT dept.even refused to accept a NIL form. If I do get a job offer from US and have to apply for a business visa, would I need IT returns for 08-09?

I was working inthe US on OPT and came to India to have my H1B stamped . I had been for my H1B visa interview last week feb 4th and was asked the following question. 1. What is your latest degree? 2. How many employees are working in your company? Me: around 30 3. Are all of them from India? Me: most of them she issued me 221(g) and asked me for the following documents: 1. Petitioner's Federal income tax return past 3yrs 2. Petitioner's State unemployment wage reports for past 3 years 3.List of petitioner's employees at your job site including names, titles , salaries and immigration status. I was wondering what are they trying to determine by determing how many employees are from India and are there chances of refusal if they find out 10 out of 30 are on H1
