In GST,
1) First two digits are state code
2) Next ten digits are pan of individual or non- individual
3) 13th digit indicates number of registrations has been made with same pan with in the state
4) 14th digit is default(Z)
5) 15th digit is to detect errors
CST Number
1) First two digits are state code
2) Remain 9 digits are given by the state depends on the formula of algorithm
