Sir my sister applied for visa and got rejected thrice when
she was coming in the train unfortunately her passport got
drowned in water as some one kept a water bottle open in the
top and it poured into the cloth bag in which she kept her
passport and when we took to the regional passport office
and asked for replacement of the pages they said they need
to give her a new passport as the previous one is damaged
now my question if she wants to apply for the visa again is
it possible she can apply with a new passport or she has to
use the old passport as she has got the new passport now if
so what are the procedures

I wish to do my graduate studies in one of the us universities in the field of computer science starting Fall 2010 and am waiting admission information from 1-2 univs. Two years back, I had attempted for H1-B visa which was put on hold. Subsequently since I got a good job in India, I did not pursue H1-B visa. Now I wish to continue with my studies after getting some job experience. My problem What shoudl I write in the DS-160 column asking: Whether you had applied for US visa earlier, if so what is the result. Whether I should write: applied for H1-B visa but put on hold or applied for H1-B visa, denied. Whether this will come in the way of my securing F-1 visa now? Hi..I have finished my 12th standard in India..I am going to do my U.G Engineering in Iowa State University , USA I have my I20 form i have good Toefl, SAT scores as asked by that university.. my Visa interview is on 19th.. my question is my Brother is doing his 2nd year masters {mba} in the same university..Should i tell about him or what to tell when the interviewer asks to me..Will i get any trouble if i say my brother is also studying there??? please friends i am waiting for your reply
