I wish to do my graduate studies in one of the us
universities in the field of computer science starting Fall
2010 and am waiting admission information from 1-2 univs.
Two years back, I had attempted for H1-B visa which was put
on hold. Subsequently since I got a good job in India, I
did not pursue H1-B visa. Now I wish to continue with my
studies after getting some job experience. My problem What
shoudl I write in the DS-160 column asking: Whether you had
applied for US visa earlier, if so what is the result.
Whether I should write: applied for H1-B visa but put on
hold or applied for H1-B visa, denied.
Whether this will come in the way of my securing F-1 visa
now? If, what type of answer I should preferably give
during the interview?

I’m Rakesh,presently studying in SRM college(BSc-computer science). My visa got rejected. Here is my case. I completed my 12th grade and I scored 1037 and scored 86 in TOEFL ibt. I did not immediately apply for the USA university,there was a gap of one year,during this one year I’m doing my BSc-computer science in SRM college. I got the I20 from the De anza community college,cupertino,california. I’m going to pursue Computer information system in De anza. The VO asked me that, why am I changing from bsc course? secondly, he asked “why are you going for the 2 year college rather than picking a four year college”? And thirdly,he asked me why dint you apply for the college as soon as you complete your 12th grade? Why are you suddenly discontinuing this college and going for De anza? So let me know the ways to get thru the interview!

HI FRIENDS SALAAM, I AM SHAED ,LAST WEEK THAT IS ON 27TH OF APRIL 2011, I WENT FOR THE US F1 STUDENT VISA INTERVIEW AND BY THE GRACE OF ALLAH SUBHANATALLAH MY INTERVIEW WAS SUCCESSFUL AND THE VO TOOK MY PASSPORT,I-20,SEVIS RECEIPT,HDFC RECEIPT, DS CONFORMATION FORM & APPOINTMENT LETTER.AND HE TOLD ME THAT YOUR VISA PROCESSING WILL BE SENT TO WASHINGTON D.C. FOR ADMINISTRATION PROCESS. SO MY QUESTION TO ALL OF U FRIENDS IS THAT DID I GOT THE VISA OR NOT ??
HI iam from delhi . my VISA rejected Twice . i applied SSU california . I have done MCA & 3 year Exp wid IT MNC. now i want go for MBA. Got my I-20. 1st time due to some SEVIS issue but VO said u will not come back thats why i cant issue visa. Iam showing 3 crore 88 lac rupees in my CA statement . 2nd time VO said u have enough Qualification so u dont need MBA ... my frnd already got Visa in same university. plezzzz soem 1 help me ... 1.i applied to only one universtity,i got my admisssion when i say this to visa officer,when VO asks me, will it make appear in good sense, because i have only 65% in UG and low TOEFL score? PLS give me your suggestion
