My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate
instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other
documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also
it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I
am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is
AIYAR.

Get an affidavit done for this - getting the name changed
in degree certificate is not an easy job

Hi, My Suggestion - You should correct your degree
certificate surname, as your all document have 'AIYAR'
instead of 'IYER'

Yesterday (22nd Oct) I had my L1B visa interview. The consulate rejected my VISA stating that I should go for L1 invidual VISA or H1B Visa. He just asked me 4 to 5 questions and then started writing something on the computer. The questions were: 1)My employer 2)My education: BTECH 3)My client , inidan salary and salary in US 4)the team size of project in India and in US. I had told around 50 in India and around 10 in US. I gave all the answers correctly. Can you please let me know the following: 1)what could be the reason of rejection ? 2)What should be the time gap before filing for L1 individual VISA again. 3)What are the chances of rejection of L1 individual visa? 4)What care should be taken next time during VISA interview? Hi I am going to File for L1 visa in a few days, however there is a mismatch in my personal experience. I have a total experience of 5 years and worked in 3 different companies. The first company I worked initially lasted 1.5 years, however, I was fired from there due to low revenue. However they had given me 6 months extra experience in my experience certificate, also I had been provided 3 months salasr when I left. However, I joined my second company in 1 month time. Therefore there was an overlap in my experience, i.e. My first two exeperience certificates show that I worked from Feb 2005 to May 2005 in two different companies. I am not sire if this will create problems while there is BG verification. Please let me know the consequences of this if I apply for L1 visa. Thanks in advance Rahul

Hi, I do have around 5+ years of experience in IT and my educational qualification is B.Com and 2 years full time diploma in Software Technology. My company is going to process my visa in L blanket, but I believe my educational qualification will not help me to get L1-B, so what are the chance if I apply L1-A rather then L1-B. Please reply. Hi, I have my visa interview next month. My passport will expire on 11/2010. My father name in passport Achupha where as in all certificates it is Achutha. In first name in first name instead of T it is given as P in 5t character. Will it be a problem for Visa.
