Hi Maiko,
I am working with TOSCA now over 2 1/2 years. I can tell
you it is the best functional testing tool I have ever
seen. You don't need development skills. After a technical
implementation period we had at the very first time, we are
using some special controls in our application, it was
never the case that we had one line to code. All test are
created in our team by business analyst. They can focus
their work to what a tester has to do and not to script.
TOSCA has a very powerful TestCase Design AddIn, I never
saw before. You can easely find out which testdata variants
you have to test, not to much but the right one.
I can tell you it is worth to take a deeper look to it.
Overall I can tell you, before TOSCA we used a Capture and
Replay framework and it was realy hard to maintane it. With
TOSCA we have now reached an automation level of more the
60% and we are not at the end.
It is the best tool on the market, try it and you will see.
Have fun

Its a new automation tool developed by Tricentis in Austria.
It uses modular framework for test automation.
Tricentis claims that this is very easy to use tool and anyone can automate test cases.
But I have used it for almost one year and this is not true, this tool is not at all efficient and has many bugs in it. You have to wait for 20 sec for it to take action when you click on something.
Though its GUI and ease to use features are really good.
Tricentis also claims that you do not need programming knowledge to work with this, which is also wrong. You need to know VB scripting to work with this.
May be in future when it will be bugs free it can save time but right now it requires more time for autmated test cases to run than running them manually :)
