the eps= income avaliabel to the common stock holders\w.av stock holders but the diluted eps is take the effect of stock option and convertabel bonds and convertabel p.s and we take the diluted eps if it well be lower than basic eps

EPS is the distributable profit/weighted aveerage number of
shares, but DPS is calculated when the denomeneter is
shares + the intrumnets which are convertible into shares
at a specified time.
