"Pro forma" (Latin "as a matter of form") invoice is a
preliminary document used to declare the value of the
trade. It can be issued before the transaction to
facilitate customs and payment arrangements.
This document models the final commercial invoice, and may
look just like the commercial invoice except for the Pro
forma invoice heading, but can also omit minor details
