My nephew is second year in high school in China and is coming to the US for two year high school study and then would like to go for a 4 year college. On the DS-165 form, should he say he will stay in the U.S. for 2 years or for 6 years ( 2+4)? thank you in advance for any thoughts on this.

VO: DID not replied and asked for passport and all. after having ma finger print he asked me which unv? i: CSU LA VO: how many unv have u applied for and name them? i: 2 sir, csula and Nyit vo: why nyit? ( being very loud) i: becox the course and curriculum are quite similar to ma objectives and i am interested in this research program they are offerring. vo: why nyit? ( being more louder) i: becoz i wnted to keep it as an option if in any case i was not admited in csula. vo: wat option? i am asking u why Nyit? i: becoz they are proving me a spz of microcomputers and digital systems. and also ma teachers and seniors reffered me this unv. vo: do u have ny relation in us? i: no blood relation but i do have some seniors there. vo: i am sorry cant grant u d visa. i am taking date after 15th august.is it possible people get visa's in 2nd attempt. where i lacked last time. and next time wat ll i possibly say dat y was i rejected last time. does ma first rejection ll affect ma 2nd interview. plz help me...

University where I applied: California international University (small university,course was international business studies) Sponsors: Were in USA(my sister) Family Situation: Father in Govt service Mother LIC Agent A Younger Brother(who is well settled) According to me I got denial cause I have sponsor over there. Now please suggest me what changes I should bring So that I ll get VISA. I have thought of few : Like in DS 156 not to mention about my younger brother so that it will be like "I am the only son & I have the responsibility to take-care of my parents"(though I know that they have my past records). Hi, I have a L1B filed by my employer which is valid till 10/10/10. I quit my employer few months back and the L1B is not valid. I am planning to take up Higher studies in US and apply for F1 Student visa. I am concerned that being in India, will I be able to apply for F1 with L1B valid till 10/10? I believe i need to cancel the L1B and I am wondering how to proceed with the cancellation. Please advise!

I graduated my BE in April 2004 (though i got my certificates on october 2004) i joined my first job in on march 2005. And after this i worked here for about 1.5 years and resigned on August 2007. After this i joined a non thechincal call centre on june 2007. This being the case i have a period of gaps like 5 months between my under graduation and first job and 10 months between first and second job. Further i am working in a non tehcnical call center. Hello guys. I am going to have interview in US Embassy consular in our city. I have applied for MBA Programs in 6 schools and 3 of them accepted me. And now one of them is going to send me an I-20 next week. Currently, even if I am just a senior undergraduate student studying Computer Science, I am also a self employer who works with one of my friend in developing Software and Webpage. To tell you the truth, the reason I wanted to do my MBA is because I am eager to be a business man (just a self employer or latter a business owner). Even if I am just 22 years old, I have got the skills to communicate with people specially one to one in our mother language. So, I have the license from our government which shows I am a business owner. I have also a GPA of 3.4. since, the school didn’t ask me any kind of Tests , I didn’t take TOEFL or GMAT, but I scheduled GMAT for July 13 (which will be after my interview) My graduation date will be in August 5, i.e. I am going to the interview before I finish my class. To add another information, my father works for UN outside our home country, and he got paid a lot that will cover my overall expense. Hey gusy, even if I have all the true evidences I may be a little bit nervous at the interview. And I don’t want to lie any thing, because it will make me much nervous. So, what do you guys recommend me? As I told you I don’t want to lie (even if they asked me whether I have a relatives or not what I will say is yes because I have 2 uncles and 1 aunt there ). Do you guys recommend me to enter the Embassy after I took my GMAT test or when? Please guys tell me what real things to do to get the visa. Even if I am rejected I have a lot of plans here, except I am going to miss/broke up with my girlfriend who lives USA (in the state I applied). Thank you guys.

hi, I going to the US for my masters in spring. Its my dad who is sponsoring me. But he just retired a few months back & hence is no longer paying any IT(income tax). So will it be a problem n getting a visa if i still show him as my sponsor ?? I have the funds in his account to cover the 2yrs plus a 15 Lakh education loan to support my studies. Thank you
