GMO stands for genetically modified organism.....
the genes of any plant or animal should be modified genetically which is regarded as a transgenic plant or animal. The role is to prolong their lifetime or half lives. These GMO's are regarded as GRAS i.e genetically regarded as safe.

sticky ends are also called cohesive ends, it is formed by using endonuclease enzyme.

This enzyme will cut the strands in between so that it can produce those sticky ends or cohesive ends or overhanging ends

Using EcoRI we can cut this strand.
