why a single phase motor of same rating takes more amps than the three phase motor? as single phase motor at 230v takes 5amp per HP while 3 p motor takes 2.5amp per hp at 230v.

a Generator of 1KVA can supply upto 1.4 amps, so the maximum load could be 1.4*120

first of all you will have to calculate the torque, then putting values in the formula we can find its HP
HP= (torque*rpm)/5250
