this layer convert & format the information in to data &
sent to transport layer.for ex--email, web browser

(6)presentation layer
this layer responsable for presentating the data in the
required format. (or)
this layer responsable for encryption, compression, coading
& formating the data.

(5)session layer
this layer establishes manages & termited session between
two devices. (for ex--simplex, half duplex & full duplex)

(4)transport layer
transport layer receive the data & convert thenm in to
segment & sent to network layer protocol.this layer
responsable for end to end delivery.transport layer
protocol used sdto tcp & udp protocol.

(3)network layer
this layer receive the segment & convert them in to
packates & add to header information (logical address) &
send them to the data link layer protocol.

(2)data link protocol
this layer receive the packates & convert them in to frame
& add header information (physical address) & send frame to
physical layer.

(1)physical layer
this layer receive the frames & convert them in to bits to
the put on the network medium
