Simply replace the first number by its square root.

(25) 5 - 2 = 3

(100) 10 x 2 = 20

(36) 6 / 3 = 2

Drop the digit in the tens position from the first number.

(2) 5 - 2 = 3

1 (0) 0 x 2 = 20

(3) 6 / 3 = 2

You will get the same answer on removing left and right
digit alternatively from the first number i.e remove left
digit from first (2), right digit from second (0), left
digit from third (3) and right digit from forth (4).

14 (4) - 3 = 11

Drop left and right digit alternatively from the actual answer.

the rule is to remove one of the minimal digits in the ist
number in the equation.
so 144-3= 44-3 =41
