Answer / prakash
hi this is prakash............
myself preparing 4 iob clerical examination
here we need 2 plan as per the time we have in the exam
we need to concentrate on English, quantitative aptitude and
reasoning
after that go 4 the writing section
we need 2 manage all the above section excluding writing in
95 mins
which is 1 hr 35 mins
so there is more emphasis in management of time
writing can be done in 45 mins theres no problem with that
.........
so concentrate more on speed and accuracy of your answer
during your preparation
AND THERE IS NO GENERAL AWARENESS OR COMPUTER LITERACY
SECTION FOR THIS EXAM

Answer / gayathri poornima
Hello all, according to me one should first check the
weightage of marks awarded for each segment given. In that
case reasoning and numerical ability stands first with total
of 80 marks. Hence one should concentrate on this more.
After this it is the clerical aptitude with 40 marks. Divide
ur time according to this. English is just for qualifying
purpose hence just have a look at it.General knowledge is
very important to answer the descriptive paper. So u should
know the current affairs going on in our country as well as
the things happening in Banks. This is how i'm preparing for
the exam and my opinion to prepare for the exam.
ALL THE BEST TO THOSE WHO ARE PREPARING FOR THE EXAMINATION.
Be cool and go through ur question paper once thoroughly and
then start answering as this may reduce tension.

Later, its name was changed as "BANK OF BENGAL". In continuation to this, other two precidency banks were established in India at Mumbai - BANK OF MUMBAI (1840), at Chennai - BANK OF MADRAS. In 1925 these three banks were merged into one and named as "IMPERIAL BANK OF INDIA" under the control of Reserve Bank of India(1935).
