Hai,
Yesterday I have attended the interview and it was so easy,
Just they have asked some questions regarding the subjects
in graduation and about family background and ragarding
hobbies and very simple questions about banks like what is
ATM, what is the new name of UTI bank, and what is the full
form of UTI bank and what is the difference between private
and public sector banks and how do u feel after entering a
private bank and public sector bank, what is internet
banking, and what are the business that will be undertaken
by the banks that all.

Be cool, no need to take any tention and they didn't even
ask about current affairs and GK, for every one it is the
same and i have attended the interview at Hyderabad do not
forget to take the three sets of biodata along with the
original set, if u are OBC please take the recent OBC
certificate and character certificates are must and they
should be recent, if u do not produce now they are asking to
write that u will submit afterwards at the time of appointment.

There are five boards in the interview panel, first they are
verifying our certificates and they are sending for the
interview and under each board 22 members are called for the
morning session and 22 members for the evening session the
interviewers will be different for different boards, and
there will be only 3 members at the panel, one will be
asking about our family back ground and hobbies, one is
asking about our graduation subjects and some questions from
that, and the other member will be asking simple questions
from banks. This is the situation in Hyderabad on 13th,
under board 4 they have asked more questions and others all
they simply concentrated on our biodata nothing out of that,
so take care more of ur biodata and prepare about hobbies
well and gra sub. It is just only 5-10 min.

I was hving interview on 13.10.08
it was quite easy for me
I am a BTECH graduate and they asked me y i prefer bank job
what all i knw abt bank job
then some current affairs like indians who won olympics this
year etc
from my exp i think they are not checking our knowledge but
our attitude
so friends whatever you say be confident and sincere

hi,
sandeep here ,i have been interviewed for same position dtd
15.10.2008.
u don't worry they ask just some of the simple questions
starting with tell me abt u r self n family background.
they ask u abt u r graduation subjects and if u r working
somewhere .
pay attention that u must be confident and have good
communation within that 20-25 min.
some questions they asked me are :
which bank has recently merged with ICICI and who is
chairman of ICICI?
What is mean by co-operative bank and co-operative society?
what is diff between current acc and saving a/c
what is diff u find in public sector bank and private
sector bank?
what is debit card and credit card?
why u want to join SBI?
thats all.
just be confident answer well,if u dont know the answer say
sorry.

hi folks !
I attended the SBI interview yesterday , interview panel
consists of 3 people . BE sure of what u write in the
hobbies column of the biodata , they will enquire you about
the same , and also aboutthe place u reside in and ur
general awareness and current affairs , for me they asked
about the meltdown in the aviation sector and general
recession all around . They will also query about our areas
of interest and try to put u in spot by asking some silly
questions, be preapared for the same . Plz dont bluff if u
dont know the answer , say that you dont know . Be polite
and give your answers slowly and confidently , All the very
best guys !!

then they asked why bank?
then why sbi?
what is your aim fo next 5 years?
so dont worry .......
it is very easy
update yourself with current affairs
last selection is based on written +interview.

Sharing interview question held on 30th April. 1. They saw my hobbies column and asked regarding hobbies question i.e. Chess. The question was Which is the current ongoing championship who vs who. Who is the leading player and by how many points? 2. Family Background. 3. Which services banks offer? 4. And most important question is when pensioner came to bank and asked about printing information of pension sheet. Condition is all printer is out of service. 5. Hobbies i.e. Elocution.
