sandeep here ,i have been interviewed for same position dtd
15.10.2008.
u don't worry they ask just some of the simple questions
starting with tell me abt u r self n family background.
they ask u abt u r graduation subjects and if u r working
somewhere .
pay attention that u must be confident and have good
communation within that 20-25 min.
some questions they asked me are :
which bank has recently merged with ICICI and who is
chairman of ICICI?
What is mean by co-operative bank and co-operative society?
what is diff between current acc and saving a/c
what is diff u find in public sector bank and private
sector bank?
what is debit card and credit card?
why u want to join SBI?
thats all.
just be confident answer well,if u dont know the answer say
sorry.

Hi friends i am M.Ponraj, i have been selected for the post of Sorting Assistant in RMS'T'Division(Tiruchirapalli), Department of Posts, India on December 29th 2009. In trichy division 23 candidates were selected and 10 of them were given induction training and they are to be posted in trichy division. I am waiting for the induction training. In the mean time i got selected in the SBI-Clerk written exam and attended the interview for it in Chennai on 26th April 2010. When will the result for SBI CLERK 2009 INTERVIEW be declared? CRPD people are telling that result will be declared by September 1st week hope it will come before that but no indication regarding this from SBI officially. I just wanted to suggest something to all SBI CLERK ASPIRANTS let us all start an EMAIL MOVEMENT by writing more and more mails to crpd@sbi.co.in on daily basis regarding to declaration of result result mentioning that they should at least declare the tentative dates published on sbi.co.in please do it u all there is no benefit of sitting idle and waiting for result lets do something itni mail karo ka vo bhi feel kare k how desperate we are about the result? Whats u r say?

i finished my interview on 8th may....... they asked me these questions...... 1)tell me abt urself(I andwered for 2 mins) 2)difference between 2g and 3g(3g is faster than 2g)i forgot to answer that 3g has more bandwidth and it is circuit switched network 3)what is the uniqueness of 500 rupees note (that circle at corner for blind people , wen in light the colour of 500 changes) 4)what is the technology of atm(i dont know) 5)what are the different types of deposits(Recurring and fixed deposits) 6)what is recent hockey tournament going on(this also i dont know) 7)who is leading in recent world chess championship(anand wen i saw but later i dont know who was leading) 8)who is topper in recent IAS exams?(i didnt answer) 9)what u consider as ur life time achievement? the panel was very soft......so no tension......
