you should start with your name and tell about yourself and
your educational qualifications.I don't think it is
necessary to tell about your family background unless and
until they ask.You shouldnot tell your weaknesses and
shouldnot say that u need to get this job compulsorily.

Regarding self introduction.
These are a few points
Start with ur name,educational qualification & professional
exposure. Than gradually start with ur family background and
sum up with ur strenghts & weaknesses if any.

hi, i know someone who had given sbi interview recently.
they are going to ask mostly about banking and marketing,
read about crr,slr. also go through your subject which you
have studied so far. they might ask any question regarding
what you studied so far for eg if you have done ba they
would ask how it is going to help you in banking clerks
jobs. be calm answere confidently and use heavy words like
confident, hardworking,energetic etc

i faced the interview .they just asked general
questions.then asked about my subject...pls carry ur
attested certificates without that thay wont allow u...it
will be very fine.just be cool and go...all the best

Dear frends, I completed my SBI clerical interview today, the following questions are asked to me, 1. About yourself. 2. What u did after ur graduation.(They stressed mainly on this and cross questioned like reason behind the failure of ur trails) 3. How do u think u r suitable for banking sector 4. what made u to choose this sector 5. Todays news paper 6 what r the qualities required for a clerk job aspect, It went around 12-13 minutes, they will cross question u in every, be prepared for that. Please Help...... One of my close relative leady ( Married) presently working at state bank of hyderabad at hyderabad, her husbend also working in PVT company at hyderabad. Now she selected at UCO Bank for the post of PO.in the offer letter they have not mentioned place of posting. but they mentioned report for training at bhubaneswar , orissa . Now she is confussion wether she will join at UCO bank or not.as she dont know the place of posting .also she is affriding if they post at orissa , or otherthen hyderabad then her femily life will distrub.
