This is manjunath, today i collected appointment letter
from LHO, i posted in kunigal. pls clarify the following
1. is there any possibility of changing branch?
2. if not at present when it is possible to change?

I selected in SBI(kunigal branch) and i also gave
interview for karnataka bank for the same clerical post,
yet to receive result. my question is if i selected in
karnataka bank also which one i should choose? which is
better among them? pls.......clarify me

at starting the first posting is for 2 yrs
as told by sbi officials after 2 yrs u r subjected to
get transfer

Hello Manjunath,

Of all public sector banks, SBI is at present most sought
after bank, so I would suggest you to join SBI for better
prospects. But that is just my opinion. From your post i
can tell that you have to wait for the result of karnataka
bank, so better join sbi. You can notify them of leaving
the bank with a 14 day notice as stated in the appointment
letter if you wish to join other organisation later. So,
dont worry and accept the offer from sbi.

Hello Manjunath,

for the questions about transfer, they will be clearly
stated in the appointment letter. I am yet to receive mine
on monday, so I am telling you this acc to the post of
Debasis previously where he typed his appointment letter.
IN the second page there is a clause stating we will not be
entitled transfer to the place of our choice for a period of
3 years from date of joining within the circle and for
intercircle transfer it is for 10 years. I will further
update you on this on monday.

But SP's statement is different, he says 2 years. I wonder
how come. I will clarify myself on Monday anyway.

Hi I am attending SBI clerk Interview on 3rd May. They asked OBC certificate which is issued after 1st April 2009. But my certificate is certified on Feb 1st 2009. Will they accept this OBC certificate. Early reply will be appreciable. Thanks in advance.

Hi,everyone!!i want to knw wat is the criteria behind deciding dates of interview for the selected candidates??i wanna knw they give dates to candidates according to marks they scored in written test means who have secured more marks has been interviewed first or they take interview randomly and then prepare final list.becoz i heard written test matters a lot!!plz post ur answer regarding this!! those who have interview at last is it mean they have less marks in written test or not??
