Dear, in the SBI PO recruitment, they have specified that 55
% or more marks are essential for graduates. please see the
link:

So i think, 55 % is the cut-off for graduates. So u need not
worry Debasis.

I know its hard to get 55 % or more in Physiotherapy. Even
im studying M.Sc. in Biotechnology. My UG was B.Sc. Biotech.
Its very hard to cross the magical figure of 1st class.

Dear Deb,

I inquire the SBI person who is helping me abt u r situation.

If u applied for PO , u will be treated as same as other
Candidates and no special benefits / helps will be given.

I didnt know much abt ur Subject. But my friend had done the
same and scored 55%. He told that it's a hard subject for
securing more.

As u r confident abt 55-60% of scoring, no need to worry. U
can apply for PO. But u know that there's promotional exams.
So dont worry abt sal. There's lot of way

Am yet to complete my graduation.it will take

atleast 8-9 months to over.i only hav my final exams but

there is some university problems going on,thats why it is

getting late.

so cant submit my conduct certificate right now

at d time of joining.is there any prob wit that?????can SBI

letter. I think that postal strike is d main hindrance 4

Hi Rakhi...
It means that u have 2 go to SBI Office and they will
verify ur certificates and then most probably u will hjave
medical on that day itself.
I am also from Bangalore circle and my Medical is on 24th.

THY will do random blood test ,tht means no need to be
on fasting....BUT PPPL HAVING BLOOD SUGAR N WANNA HIDE IT
FRM DOC, U CAN GO EMPTY STOMACH N TELL U ALREADY TOOK
BREAKFAST..BY THIS UR SUGAR LEVELS WUD BE VRY LOW....but
there is no such rule tht ppl having hi suagr limits r
unfit..so donn worry all...

hi yaar i too had the same experience like u but i have
all my reports normal,but only bcoz im overweight he told
me to come again....n one thng there is no rule in SBI r
any govt orginasation tht ppl having hi suagr levels r hi
BP r unfit... so dont worry u will be declared fit...but
the doc will do some scene to show is power....finally he
will give an impression tht he helped u..... this is to
satisfy his ego...anyway ur sugar levels r hi ,start a
healthy life style...bcoz we have long life to live....i
too started jogging n dieting after this mess..

there isnt any rule tht having site with -5 is unfit ,so
donn worry... but i donno abt myopia... anyway finally thy
will declare u fit....as far as my knowledge thy wont
declear u unfit unless u have only one eye.


hey all...dont worry abt medical check-up its just a
mere formality... but u can expect some drama in it... but
finally thy will declare fit..

hi all

according to the usuall govrnment rules the min
expansion of chest shld be 5cms while we breath in.....so
for all u lean guys n struggling to expand ur chest....do
thiss,whn doc is measuring ur chest exhale all ur lungs to
the fullest,by this u can make an empty space less thn ur
usuall measurement n when he asks to inhale, inhale as much
as u can .. by this we can get 5cms difference
easily...some canditates in tension forgets to exhale whn
doc is taking first measurement,this will create a
problem.... im telling this bcoz i donn wanna see even one
canditate unfit.... bcoz we came a long way upto this
point... n now we deserve the job at any cost....
