How Bridge Protocol Data Unit detect looping in Network?
How Bridge Protocol Data Unit work? explain?
Answer / guest
BPDU is a type of updation generated by the ROOT BRIDGE in
the switch based networks using STP.
because of this every switch knows each and every path to
the destination now here all the authority to run the
network smoothly is in the hands of root bridge.....which
actually tells which switch port will be in the forwarding
state and which will be in the blocking state....so as to
stop the loops....
which is also controlled by these BPDUs.
