After starting at 12am they don't meet back up at 1:05am
they actually meet back up at 1:05 and 27.27 secs. This
extra time adds up over the course of the morning and after
11 hours becomes 5 mins.
Therefore it is 22 times in a day.
The math:
min_hand completely rotates 1/hr
hr_hand completely rotates (1/12)/hr
They unite at time t when t(1-1/12)=1
==> t=1/(1-1/12)
=1/(11/12)
=12/11
==> t is 1.0909 hours

in 12 hrs,between midnight and noon both the hands meet at
12:00 a.m.
1:05 a.m.
2:10 a.m.
3:16 a.m.
4.22 a.m.
5:27 a.m.
6:33 a.m.
7.38 a.m.
8.43 a.m.
9.48 a.m.
10:54 a.m.
( next 12:00 p.m. and not 11:55)
similarly between noon and midnight it is 11 times, 12:00 a.m. is not considered again as a new day starts then.
11*2=22

How on earth is that Possible... Just use sense.
first, It can be 24 only if there is difference of 1 hour
But u guys urself are telling that its 1.05... then how is
that possible.
and for Foxy Z. that says to look at clock-

at 12.00 am (start of the day) the hands meet
at 11.55 pm (just before end of the day) the hands meet
then according to you, just after 5 minutes from 11.55 pm,
again the hands will meet, coz its 12.00 am start of next day.
How is that possible?
