NTFS5 (New Technology File System version 5) is an enhanced version of NTFS4. NTFS5 supports larger volumes, improved security with encrypted files and folders, access control lists for better permissions management, native support for reparse points, and automatic file system repair. It also offers improved performance, especially for large disk partitions.
