What is differed processing and its advantages?

What is differed processing and its advantages?..

Answer / Kamta Prasad Verma

Differed Processing in PeopleSoft allows changes to be made to a record, but those changes are not immediately saved to the database. Instead, they are 'queued up' for later processing during a specific event or process. The advantages of differed processing include improved performance by reducing the number of database writes, and increased flexibility by allowing changes to be made without affecting other parts of the system.
