Does weight affect how far you jump?

Does weight affect how far you jump?..

Answer / Sunny Rana

Weight affects the height you can jump, but not the distance. The height of a jump depends on the initial velocity and the force exerted during takeoff. However, the distance you cover while in mid-air is determined by your horizontal velocity, which remains constant during a simple jump.
