To enable DAOS (Domino Application Object Service) automatically for all new mailfiles in IBM Lotus iNotes, you need to set the Mailfile Defaults on the server. Go to Server Document > Configuration > Mail > Mailfile Defaults and set 'Use DAOS by default' to Yes.
