What is the 12th term of the series 2, 5, 8, ......

Answer / Sandeep Gupta

The 12th term of the series can be found using the difference between terms. The first three differences are: 3 (5 - 2), 3 (8 - 5), and 5 (not applicable as it's the fourth term). This means that the sequence is increasing by increments of 3, so we add 3 to the last known term (which is 8 for the eleventh term) to find the twelfth term: 8 + 3 = 11. However, the question asks for the 12th term, not the sum of the 12th and 11th terms, so the correct answer is 11.
