I faced a case : One person "P" registered for a plot amounted to almost Rs 400000 to a real state company, XYZ. But XYZ is unable to provide the plot even after 2 years. So they are returning back the money along with the interest. Interst amount is almost Rs 66000. XYZ company is deducting the TDS from the interest. Are this company is doing right by deducting the TDS from the interest income? The profile of person Case 1 : P is a student and don't have any income. Case 2 : P is earning more than 10000 pm if interest income is included.

Hi, One of my friend was working in TCS. Now he is not working. But when he was in TCS, he has referred me. And he has uploaded my profile in TCS portal. He has given me one EPIR number also. Now TCS people are telling, I can't apply any jobs with that EPIR number. Last month I have attended interview in TCS with that EPIR number. I have cleared all the rounds, only documentation is pending. Now my profile is pending with HR, because of EPIR number. I have selected in interview. I am waiting for job. Please advise.

My father Mr. Prakash was working with SBM, Bangalore and had taken 2 Insurance policies on LIC- Under Salary Savings Scheme, 2 Insurance Policies on LIC under Accident Benefit Policy, 1 Insurance Policy on Bajaj Allianz under Accident Benefit and scheme and has received benefit of about 6 lakhs from Bank as Insurance amount on his death. He had nominated my step mother (second wife of my father) as nominee for all the above mentioned, and now she is refusing to share the benefit among us (my father had married her after my mother deceased , we are 3 children). Please suggest whether we get our share… do we have any rights on Insurance benefits??
